Fog and rain today. Ho hum… I still got out there to make the best of what light there was.
And interesting to see how different everything looks, sounds and feels when the cloud is so low. I noticed the birds more by hearing them today than by seeing them. And then saw them more in my mind's eye than in reality – where they were mostly smudgy shapes in the gloom. It makes is all a bit mysterious. And makes me curious to know what made the sounds I did not recognise. I could look them up. Or I could imagine them. Curiosity and imagination – they can both be beneficial to how we feel.
