Lockdown 2 Resilience tips - Day 2
I hope you enjoyed some sunshine today. It was certainly a beautiful day here to wrap up warm and get out for a walk. Sunlight boosts our mood and helps us to sleep. It is thought to increase levels of serotonin, sometimes called the happiness hormone; and to increase production of melatonin, which helps us to sleep. See if you can get out for a walk during daylight hours. Even a short walk will help and even on dull days, there will be benefits. Or if you cannot manage a walk, maybe just step outside for a few minutes. Enjoy!
