Lockdown 2 Resilience Tips - Day 10


Today’s tip is to lose yourself in a story. Find a great book to read. Or listen to a book if you prefer to be read to. There is lots of evidence that reading increases health and wellbeing. It gives us a break, engaging our brain so we can forget about everything else. It takes us out of ourselves and into the experience of the characters. It can reduce feeling of loneliness. We can find out about people and travel to times and places we could never go to otherwise. And it slows us down in what is sometimes a frenetic world. Enjoy a good read 😊
